Stephanie M. (Wendoloski) Karbowski of Johnston Dies at 39

Stephanie M. (Wendoloski) Karbowski, 39, of Johnston, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at HopeHealth Hospice Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of David M. Karbowski. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Deborah (Zolnierz) Wendoloski. Stephanie worked as the director of Imagination Station Early Learning Center in Johnston.

Stephanie passed away after a brave and heroic battle with breast cancer. She had a kind heart, spirit and a zest for life that will live on through everyone who knew and adored her. She had and indomitable spirit and continued to encourage her family and friends despite the many struggles she faced.
She was a loving and dedicated mother, daughter/daughter-in-law, wife, sister/sister-in-law, aunt, niece, and cousin. She was the Matriarch to her friends and family from a very young age. She will be truly missed by all but never forgotten.
Besides her husband David and mother Deborah, she is survived by her two cherished daughters, Reagan Rae and Reese Marie Karbowski, both of Johnston; dear brother James Wendell of West Hollywood, CA; maternal grandmother Madonna Della Grotta of Johnston; aunts, Angela DeFalco of Johnston, Sheri Della Grotta of Cranston and Norma Salisbury of Foster; uncles, the late Mario Della Grotta, and Ronald Burns of Johnston; great uncle Alan Burns (Maureen) of Warwick; father in law Walter Karbowski (Peggy) of Glocester; mother in law Donna Dordine (Joseph) of North Providence; sisters, Caryn, Naunie, Tiahna and Tanya; sister in-laws and brother in-laws, Missy, James, Erin, Mike, Kristen and Bryan; nieces & nephews, Jared, Carter, Elizabeth, Morgan, Jayden, Joey, Rocco, Lucia; cousins, Kaleigh, Nadia, Robert, Nana, Joshua, Ashley.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 8:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Sunday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
