Rosario Cepeda, Passes at 80

Rosario Cepeda, who would have been 81 years old next month, passed away at Miriam Hospital in Providence after a brief illness.

He was the beloved husband of Carmen (Lopez) Cepeda. Born on Loiza, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Juan Cepeda Rodriguez and Marcelina Santos.

Mr. Cepeda had been employed in the construction industry for several years before retiring.

Besides his wife, he leaves 12 daughters, Rosa and Ninfa Cepeda of Boston, Marcelina and Ivette Cepeda of Puerto Rico, Brenda Cepeda of New York, Carmen Willot of MA, Rose Angela Cepeda of CT and Vanessa Cepeda of Providence. He also leaves four sons, Rosario Jr. of New Jersey, Ismael Cepeda of Puerto Rico, and Miguel Cepeda and Abdiel Calderon both of Central Falls. He was predeceased by five other children. He also leaves a brother Jorge Cepeda in Puerto Rico. He was the Grandfather of 30 and Great Grandfather of 15.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening, from 6 until 8 pm in the Coelho Home. .

His Funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 am and burial will follow in Woodlawn-No. Purchase Cemetery in Attleboro, MA.
