Robbie A. Gruttadauria, of Johnston, Dies at 49

Robbie A. Gruttadauria, 49, of Johnston, died suddenly on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at RI Hospital, Providence. 

He was the beloved husband of Traci (DiCostanzo) Gruttadauria. They were together for 24 years and married for the past 21 years. Born in Providence, he was the loving son of Ronald and Marie (Carrier) Gruttadauria both of Johnston. Robbie was an award-winning gold leaf printer.

He worked for both HB Precision for 5 years & WE Jackson and Co. for the past 33 years. He enjoyed landscaping for work part time.

Robbie loved sailing, teaching karate, was a 1st and 2nd degree Blackbelt, He also was an avid collector and builder of guns and rebuilding of his yellow and black 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442.

He kept his house, yard, truck, and cars in mint condition. Most importantly put all of his love with his family and two twin daughters Ashley and Kayla. He will be greatly missed.

Besides his beloved wife and loving parents, he was the cherished father of twin girls Ashley and Kayla Gruttadauria both of Johnston, and dear brother of Brian Gruttadauria of North Providence.

His visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 pm in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday morning at 11 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston.

Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
