Marsha was a summer resident at Roy Carpenter’s Beach since the early 1950s.  She still remembered the day they evacuated for the ‘54 Hurricane and the eeriness of the beach after. She loved the sun, the sand, a good book, friends, and a good card game.

Marsha enjoyed crossword puzzles, basketball, cooking for her family, her late dog, Buca, and her grandchildren. She was the ‘commissioner of a very competitive bracket league every spring, which will now be called “Marsh Madness” in her honor.

She is survived by three sons, Michael R. Landy and his wife, Patricia of Warwick Thomas W. Landy and his wife, Linda of Narragansett and David N. Landy of Denver, CO; two siblings, Maryanne Chiarello and Thomas Abbenante and seven grandchildren, Ryan, Lukas, Alison, Natalie, Emma, Seamus, and Chloe. She was predeceased by her grandson, Samuel, and daughter-in-law, Barbara.

Her funeral service and interment will be private.

Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
