Ramona (Acosta) Rodrigues of West Warwick Dies at 94

Ramona (Acosta) Rodrigues, 94, of West Warwick passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Tomas Palmieri. Born in Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Gerardo and Norberta (Montes) Acosta.

 

She was the mother of Daysi, Ismael (Marisol), Alberto (Lizi), Elizabeth (Gustavo), Jose A. (Haydee), Lucy, Evelyn (Sandro) and the late Thomas P. Jr., Jose Luis and Elsie Palmieri. She was the grandmother of 25 great-grandmothers of 45 and great-great-grandmother of 13.

She is also survived by her siblings, Georgina, Rafaela, Romula, Gerardo Jr., and Victor Acosta. She was the sister of the late Nicolasa, Maximina, Angelita, Basilio, Rafael, Lorenzo, Johnny and Aguedo Acosta.

 

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 11 am. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston. Visiting hours are Monday morning from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.
