Pittman Earl Lynch, of Providence, Dies at 56

Pittman Earl Lynch, 56, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. He was born July 19, 1964, in Stamford, Connecticut to the late Spear Pittman Lynch and Mildred Jackson Williams. He relocated to Providence, Rhode Island in 1988 where he resided at the time of his passing.
Earl, as he was called by his family, Pittman as he was known to his friends, was a truck driver for many years.
After recovering from an illness a few years ago, he worked part-time as a security guard and spent the balance of his time enjoying his life. He loved the simple life and loved spending time with family.
Earl had the kind of personality that easily attracted people, he had a big heart, and no matter where he went, he made friends who loved him dearly; especially his best friend, Kevin Varella, who was more like a brother from another mother. Earl was known as a jokester. He loved having fun, and he loved to cook and eat. When he was younger, he was known for getting up before the sun came up and waking up everybody in the house with the fumes of his cooking. He had to have his breakfast every day. Earl will be missed greatly by all who loved him especially for his passion for life, the sensitivity he showed for the things that mattered to him, but mostly because he was like a big teddy bear whose presence was felt wherever he showed up.
Earl is survived by five (5) sisters, Linda Jackson of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl; Patricia Williams and Valerie Fields (Ronald) of Stamford, CT; Maxine and Cynthia Lynch of Bridgeport, CT; six (6) brothers, Dan Williams of Orlando, Fl, Kevin Lynch and Kenny Lynch of Bridgeport, CT, Greg Lynch of Atlanta, GA, Aaron Lynch of Rhode Island and James Jackson of Stamford, CT and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Leon (“Junie”) Williams.
