Pedro Juan Ruiz-Velez Jr., of Central Falls, Passes at 20

Pedro J. Ruiz-Velez, 20, of Central Falls, passed away surrounded by his loving family early Saturday morning on July 31, 2021.

Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on April 19, 2001, he was the beloved son of Marisol Velez and Pedro Ruiz Sr. 

Though born with a disability, Pedro was a sweet and silly young man who was a lover of music, he really enjoyed dancing with his family.

Pedro is survived and loved by his family; his mother Marisol Velez of Central Falls; his father, Pedro Ruiz Sr. and step-mother, Marguerita Soto; his brothers, Peter Ruiz, James Ruiz, Julian Ruiz all of Central Falls; his sisters, Tiffanie Ruiz, Betsy Ruiz, and Solmari Ruiz all of Central Falls; as well as his paternal grandparents, Ramon Ruiz and Ana Caban of Puerto Rico and his maternal grandparents, Miguel Velez and Marcia Barrara of Puerto Rico.
