Peace Corps and Navy Veteran Jeannie L. Farman Dies at 52

Jeannie L. Farman, 52, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 4, 2022. Born in Hartford City, Indiana, she was the daughter of Claudina D. (Gomes) Farman and the late Jimmy R. Farman.

Jeannie relocated to Rhode Island as child and attended Central High School in Providence.

She served as a volunteer with the Peace Corps prior to enlisting in the U.S. Navy, where she proudly served her country alike generations in her family.

Jeannie was a selfless person who was willing to help others and shared a great love for animals.

Besides her mother, she is survived by a sister, Christina Lacoste of Attleboro; a nephew, Shawn Perry; a niece, Brianna Lacoste and several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
