Patricia P. (Anderson) Bucci 87, died peacefully on April 19th surrounded by her family at the Cedars in Cranston after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

She was predeceased by her parents Roy and Laura Anderson, sister Velma Studebaker (William), sister Lois Perkins (Clinton), and son-in-law John Basile.

Pat worked at the Amica Insurance Company when she was young.

She met her husband Phil and they were united in marriage on October 12, 1957.  They raised five boys and a girl.  She was a loving wife, mom, friend, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She loved birds, flowers, and enjoyed numerous summers at her parent’s camp on Wood River.  She truly enjoyed the small things in life and put her heart and soul into everything she did.  She loved to bake and cook and adored her grandchildren. Every Christmas and Easter she made sure everyone received the same amount of goodies.

She loved her daughters-in-law and son-in-law as well.  Pat also loved the beach and gardening and taking rides with her husband to Beavertail Point and various nurseries to get her flowers. She was a great mom taking her kids sledding, ice skating, to the beach, and back and forth to their sporting events.  She was a talented self-taught pianist who loved York Peppermint Patties. Pat had the prettiest blue eyes and she was sweet.

Besides her husband of 63 years Phil,  Pat is survived by her six children, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. They include; Phil and Kathy Bucci and son James (Jordan), James and Nancy Bucci, daughter Amanda Conti (John Conti) daughters Annabelle and Vivienne, son James Bucci Jr (Dally) daughters Gabriella and Aria, Roy and Paula Bucci, and daughter Camille, David and Lisa Bucci son Trevor, daughters Shannon and Ireleigh, Lynn Basile son Anthony, Paul and Kim Bucci sons Brett and Craig.

The Bucci family would like to thank all of the staff at the Cedars in Cranston who went above and beyond to treat everyone like family.  A special thanks also to hospice as well.

Funeral and burial services will be private and the family respectfully omits calling hours.
