Frances R. Patterson passed away November 27, 2018.

Frances was born in Providence to the late Isabel (Skinner) Tartaglia, and was also the daughter of Peter Palumbo and Angelina Tartaglia Palumbo. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Patterson; and mother of the late Raymond Patterson.

She was the sister of Angelo Palumbo of Bristol, Carmine Petracar of North Carolina, Della Smith of Maine, Louise Simonelli of Cranston, Elizabeth Villanueva of Cranston, Carol Muccio of Johnston, Marie Tartaglia of Cumberland, Joanne Kates of West Warwick; and sister-in-law of Isabel Tartaglia of Warwick, and Patricia A. Patterson of Chepachet. She was the sister of the late Margie Rameriz, Elinor DeAngelis, Delores Rea, Irene Roccio, and Sandra Rocchio.

Fran also lived in Las Vegas Nevada for a little over 20 years, until she came back home to Cranston where she worked for Taco Manufacturing until her retirement. She was also a member of the Johnston Senior Center and an avid bingo player. Francis was also a great accordion player in her younger years, received numerous accolades, and won many competitions.

She was stricken with Alzheimer's but still kept a great sense of humor about her. She had a pair of movie star sunglasses and would answer to a name given to her, "Constance Beauregard Patterson". She wore those glasses indoors and out. Most of all, she loved being around her nieces and nephews who kept her upbeat and happy. May she rest in eternal peace now.
