Navy Veteran, Henry F. Jubin, of Coventry, Passes at 94

Henry F. Jubin, 94, of Coventry, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. 

He was the beloved husband of Louise C. (Lesniak) Jubin. 

A veteran of World War II, Henry served his country in the United States Navy in the Pacific Theater. He worked at Interlaken Dyes as a machine operator and first-line supervisor until it closed in 1973. He then transferred to Arkwright Inc., as Manager of Production Control until he retired in 1989.

He was a member of the American Legion Post #2, R.I. Fish and Game Protective Association, and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, Ocean State BMW Riders, and Club Jogues. Henry also competed in many horseshoe tournaments and was a two-time New England champion.

Henry was the loving father of Michael H. Jubin, Deborah A. Horton (John), and the late Gary A. Jubin. He was the brother of Donald Jubin (Noella), Steve Jubin (Greg), and the late Phyllis Dennigan. Grandfather of Melissa Horton (Dantè), Shane Horton; great-grandfather of Riley Horton and Jacob Hayward. 

Family and friends are invited to attend Henry’s committal prayers and full military honors on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at 12:30 pm at Greenwood Cemetery, Fairview Avenue, Coventry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in Henry’s honor to VNA Care New England, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI, would be appreciated.
