Muriel J. (Perron) Cote, of North Smithfield, Dies at 91

Muriel J. (Perron) Cote, 91, of North Smithfield, died June 10, 2021, at home.

She was the wife of the late Vincent Cote. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Bella (Monroe) Perron.

Mrs. Cote was a homemaker, but after raising her family, she worked selling clothing at the former Carriage Trade, Woonsocket.

She is survived by two sons, Francis Cote and his wife Sue, of Chepachet, and Richard Cote and his wife Colette, of Brooklyn, CT; her daughter, Gisele Perron and her husband Donald, of North Smithfield; eight grandchildren, Zachary Krida, Madison Cote, Brittany Cote, and Kaitlyn Cote, Sarah Orani, Lindsey Boutin, Matthew Perron, and Arelis Ramos-Cote; as well as, four great-grandchildren, Jezze Sue Cote, Oliver and Zoey Boutin, and Theodore Orani. Muriel is also survived by her dear close cousin, Constance Vadnais of Charlotte, NC, who is more like a sister to her.  The two of them grew up together in Woonsocket in the same household and to this day kept in daily contact by phone. She was the mother of the late Robert Cote, and grandmother of the late Gabrielle Cote. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church Street, Slatersville at 11:00 am and may be viewed online live. (Note: This link will become available beginning five minutes prior to the start of the service)

Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, 261 West Wrentham Rd., Cumberland.
