Mu Kwang Bassett, of Cranston, Passes at 84

Mu Kwang Bassett, 84 years old of Cranston, Rhode Island, passed away in the comfort of her home on October 18, 2021.

She had lived with her beloved husband of 58 years, John Bassett. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who always offered you her bright smile, generous heart, and delicious Korean food. She grew up on a farm in South Korea, which fueled her passion for gardening and cooking.

Mu Kwang was predeceased by her brother, Sung Man Jeong, daughter, Mary Marchado, and grandson, Danny Dextradeur.

She is survived by her husband, John Bassett, daughter, Debora Marsh, son-in-law, Bob Marsh. Also her sister, Wonja Jeong and her family from South Korea. Her niece, Sun-he Fusco, and husband, Jamie. In addition, her grandchildren, Carissa Abbey, and husband, Chris, Michael Saccoccio, Cassandra Leathers and husband, Matt, Nick Machado. She also had been blessed with two beautiful great-grandchildren, Killian Abbey and Addison Abbey.

We will always have you in our hearts, in our thoughts and in our dreams. We love you and miss you so much!
