Monica Moniz, of South Kingstown, Dies at 83
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Belmiro and Lydia (Ribeiro) Silva.
Monica graduated from nursing school in 1959 and proudly worked for over 50 years in various hospitals as a licensed practical nurse.
She enjoyed traveling, eating good food, listening to R&B music, the beach, and was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan.
She is survived by a daughter, Monica Moniz(Jeff Ratchford); a sister, Joanne Silva, and a granddaughter, Jayla Ratchford. She was the sister of the late Michael and Belmiro Silva.
