Michelle Lynne Anderson, of Wickford, Passed on 05/01/21, Services Announced

Michelle Lynne Anderson, 42, of Wickford, Rhode Island, passed away on May 1, 2021, surrounded by her husband, children, and family.

Michelle is survived by her loving husband, Richard Coveney Anderson, M.D. of Wickford, Rhode Island; her children, Kayla and Dominick Gentle; step-children Emily Anderson-Serene, Theodore Anderson, William Anderson, and Charlotte Anderson; her parents, Harold and Desiree Gentle of Belle Isle, Florida; her brother, Daniel Gentle of Deltona, Florida; her sister, Kimberly Gentle of Orlando, Florida; her uncle Joseph Gentle and aunt Laurie of Homer, Alaska; her uncle Wayne Johnson and aunt Patty of Lake Wales, Florida; her uncle Bob Carrara and aunt Theresa of Suwanee, Georgia; her aunt Jackie Gormley of Gardner, Massachusetts; a close cousin Tammy Kruwell of Providence, Rhode Island; and many cousins.

Michelle was born November 8, 1978, in Attleboro, Massachusetts. She attended grade school in Massachusetts. Michelle’s family moved to Florida where she graduated from Edgewater High School in Orlando, Florida. Michelle held many occupations during her short time with us. In recent years, Michelle enjoyed being a homemaker; she took great pleasure in keeping a warm home in Wickford. Michelle had a passion for cooking, gardening, and crochet. Recently she developed a desire for travel, having discovered the desert and mountains of California. Michelle’s life was centered around her Vizsla puppy, Cali, her children, and her husband.

The family of Michelle wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the caring staff of HopeHealth Hospice.

A funeral service for Michelle will be held at Trinity Church in Newport, Rhode Island on July 30th at 10:00 am.

Michelle will be laid to rest following the service at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

A reception will be held at Trinity Church immediately afterward. All are welcome to attend.
