Michael J. Costa Dies at 35

Michael J. Costa, 35, died Saturday, July 8, 2023. He was the loving son of Patricia G. Brown, Luis G. Costa, and Ana M. Costa. Michael also leaves his siblings Luis G. Costa II, Sabrina D. Mazzilli, Victoria M. Costa, and Kevin G. Costa.

He was the loving uncle of Angelus James Costa-Mello and grandson of Robert H. Brown, Major, Cranston PD (ret.), and the late Gail P. Brown, Beatrice D. Ferreira, and the late Clotilda Vieira Estrela as well as his aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 

Michael had been employed as a welder and machinist. His family and friends were the most important things in his life. In any celebration, he would light up the room.

 

His funeral will be held Thursday July 13, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 21 Traverse St., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Wednesday 5:00-8:00 p.m.
