Mary M. "Linda" (Northup) Lawrence, Passes at 79
She was the wife of Stephen E. Lawrence. The couple would have celebrated 59 years of marriage this December. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Harry E. and Mary V. (Bryant) Northup.
Linda was employed as an assembler for 23 years at the California Artificial Flower Company in Cranston until the Company closed in 1981. She later worked as a sales clerk at several area supermarkets. Linda and her family enjoyed many summer days on Johnson’s Pond in Coventry. She belonged to the Johnson’s Pond Civic Association.

Carson and John J. Northup. Linda is also survived by several nephews & nieces including Drew J. Carson (Christine) of Richmond and Kyle C. Carson (Brea) of Coventry.
Visiting hours in the Iannotti Funeral Home at Maple Root, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) Coventry, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saints John & Paul Church in Coventry will be scheduled on a date and time to be announced.
Interment at Saint Joseph Cemetery in West Greenwich.
