Mark H Brunelle, Passes Away at 59

Mark Brunelle 59, of Bellingham, MA passed away unexpectedly in February of 2021.

He was the son of Linda (Cameron) Brunelle of Woonsocket, RI & Roger Brunelle of Indiana. The beloved father to Nicole & Mariah Brunelle, and his late son Luke Brunelle. A loving brother to Helena Bowen and her husband Danny, Jeff Brunelle, Stacey White and her husband Scott, Sheila Souviney, Lisa Guernon, and his late brother Brian Fontaine.

He was a role model to his nieces and nephews Kristian Laferriere, Brian Laferriere, Samantha Bowen, Anthony Brunelle, Olivia Stumpf, Nia White, Jada White, Tim Souliere, Mandy Souliere, and Shelbey Brunelle. The fun and loving great uncle to Kali and Maxx. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, his former wife Michelle, and several friends.

Mark spent his professional career working as a cement mason, specializing in concrete finishing. He was a member of the Rhode Island Local 40 and owned Marathon Concrete Floors for several years. Mark was a dedicated and driven individual who took great pride in his work. He had a natural gift of being able to build or fix it all. He was the first one to lend a helping hand to friends, family, and strangers alike.

Mark spent many years as a seasonal camper at Echo Lake in Pascoag, RI, where he was known for his Patriotic campsite. Some of his favorite hobbies include fishing, riding his motorcycle or bike, hiking, and rooting for the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots. Mark had a love for his country, the flag, and all things red, white, and blue. He lived an adventurous life, never turning down an opportunity to create a lasting memory. He was a fun and loving family man who wore his heart on his sleeve.

Mark is finally reunited in heaven with his beloved son Luke & dog Sparky.

A memorial service for friends and family will be held on Saturday, June 19th, with details to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mark’s name to Mark 9 Search and Rescue, P.O. Box 852495 Mesquite, TX 75185.
