Maribel "Candy" Domenech, of Providence, Passes at 61

Maribel "Candy" Domenech, 61, of Providence, passed away on September 29, 2021.

Born in Brooklyn, New York she was a daughter of the late Efrain Domenech and Ana Hernandez.

She was the loving mother to Deneen Domenech, Dezarie Domenche, Damon Lopez, sister to Norma Casalino, Zoraida Domenech, Efrain Domenech, Raymond Domenech, Albert Domenech, Grandmother to Catiana Waite, Jayda Domenech, Dillon Domenech, Elijah Lugo, Isaah Domenech, Isaac Vasquez, many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Maribel had accomplished a lot throughout her life, earning many certificates and awards. She earned her degree in Business Management from CCRI in Rhode Island. She worked for the R.I State Department of health for many years. Her favorite department that she worked in and held close to her heart was the HIV AIDS program, CDC department. Also, she enjoyed being the treasurer for the union.

She was a very successful and determined woman. If anyone needed anything she was the person to go to. She had been through many struggles in life but overcame them all and refused to give up. She had so much love for her mother, children, family, friends, and those she has come across through the way. She was such a strong-minded, smart, great sense of humor, beautiful endlessly woman. The total package, a true blessing to all who knew her.

She will be missed and in our hearts forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, October 7th from 9:00 – 10:30 am at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a funeral home service at 10:30 am.

Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence.
