Maria “Mary” T. Tedeschi, Passes Away at 101

Maria T. “Mary” Tedeschi, 101 years old, passed away peacefully at home, Monday evening, June 7, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 21, 1919, in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Guilia (DiCarlo) Tedeschi; sister of the late Vincenza, Gemma, Emiddio, and Louis Tedeschi and her niece, Jeannette Tedeschi.  She is survived by her nephew, Thomas Tedeschi, and his wife Patricia; great-nieces, Paige Tedeschi and Beth (Scott) Flanagan and her great-nieces, Fae and Liv Flanagan for whom she was adored.  She also leaves several dear friends and cousin.

Mary was a medical records technician at Eleanor Slater Hospital for over thirty-five years until her retirement.  She was a lifelong world traveler and an avid Patriots and Yankees fan. 

She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in West Warwick where she involved with the Italian Heritage Committee.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, June 14, 2021, at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a private interment in the family plot at St. Mary Cemetery. 

Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions to VNA Care New England Hospice, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886 in her memory would be appreciated.
