Maria “Marlies” L. (Langen) Ehlen, of Pawtucket, Dies at 90

She was the beloved wife of Heinrich Ehlen for seventy-two beautiful years. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Maria (Feldhoff) Langen.
Maria immigrated to the United States in 1956 and settled in Pawtucket where she dedicated her life to her home and family. She helped her husband run the family business, the former Triangle Drafting Service, Pawtucket, and managed their investment properties. Maria was a faithful member of All Saints’ Episcopal Church, Attleboro, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a member of the German-American Cultural Society of Rhode Island for over sixty years, and also served as Vice-President. An accomplished accordion player, Maria also sang for the Lorelei chorus and danced with the Alpenblumen Bavarian dance group. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

She was the sister of the late Waltraud Kane.
