Maria dos Anjos “Angie” Andrade, of Riverside, Dies at 69

Maria dos Anjos "Angie" Andrade, 69, of Riverside, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, December 12, 2021.

Born April 6, 1952 in Faial, Azores she was the daughter of Maria Fatima Vasconcelos Serpa and the late, Jaime da Rosa Serpa Jr.

A loving wife and mother she leaves her husband of 48 years, Jose A. Andrade, her mom Maria Fatima Vasconcelos Serpa of East Providence, two Sons: Mark Andrade and his wife Edna of Somerset, MA., Jimmy Andrade and his wife Suzanne of Barrington, R.I., four Sisters: Elida Caetano of Somers, CT., Rose Bateson of East Providence, RI., Maria Andrade of East Providence, RI., Michelle Batista of East Providence, RI., four Grandchildren: Victoria, Gabriella, Lyla, and Drew Andrade. Angie Andrade was also the sister of the late, Jaime Manuel da Rosa Serpa of Swansea, MA.

Angie worked at Imperial Pearl for 28 Years as an Office Supervisor and then later for Citizens Bank performing International Wire Transfers.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Besides her husband, her greatest loves were her boys and grandkids. You could always count on her to support them at games and school performances. She was happiest when she had her family around having a good time. She will be forever missed.

Her funeral will begin Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 8:00 am from the Rebello Funeral Home & Crematory, 901 Broadway to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, Taunton Avenue, East Providence.

Burial will be Private

Calling Hours Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Funeral Home.
