Maria Conceicao “Connie” Vieira, of East Providence, Passes at 65

Maria Conceicao “Connie” (Lima) Vieira, 65, of Cadorna St., East Providence, passed away Sunday morning, September 13, 2021.

She was the devoted wife of Jose Manuel “Manny” Vieira. Born Feb. 24, 1956, in Valverde, Santa Maria, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Jose A. Lima and Idalina Rosa (Cabral) Lima.

Connie worked for many years as a supervisor at Monet Jewelry and later worked for Dr. William Andreoni.

In addition to her husband of 47 years, she leaves her daughter and son-in-law, Sonia and Michael Furtado of East Providence, and her beloved grandchildren, Hayley and Mikey. She was the sister of Maria Fatima (Jack) Silva, Manuel (Angie) Lima, Jose (Odete) Lima, all of East Providence, and Antonio (Fatima) Lima of Bristol. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, September 16, at 10 am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse St., Providence.

Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Visitation will take place in church Thursday morning from 9 am until 9:45 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are greatly appreciated to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, Brookline, MA 02445 (be certain to put Maria C. Vieira on the memo line of the check).
