Lyonel P. Antoine Jr., of Providence, Dies at 39

Born in Brooklyn, New York, “Bino" as he was known by family and friends, was the beloved son of Lyonel P. Antoine and Patricia (Brown) Smith.
Lyonel was a chef for various restaurants and especially enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends. Lyonel was a flame and drew a variety of personalities to himself; he had wisdom and insight into life that was way beyond his young years which he willingly shared with others. He touched the lives of all those with whom he came in contact. Bino was our philosopher.

Survivors also include his devoted brothers, Ashanti Robinson and Phillip Antoine. Lyonel is also survived by his grandmother, Hilda Brown; his aunts Ebony Belmar, Natasha Pierre-Antoine and uncles Marlene Pierre Antoine, Luis Brown, Mario Brown, Carlos Brown, Duane Brown, and Anthony Carrion. He was predeceased by his uncles Oscar and Rolando Brown. In addition, Lyonel leaves behind several cousins, close friends, and an extended family network to mourn his much too early departure from this life.
Visiting hours will be Monday, July 26th from 9-11 am followed by a funeral service at 11 am at A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence.
Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence.
