Lorna Ann Rebello, of North Providence, Dies at 67

Lorna A. Rebello, 67, of Sunset Avenue, North Providence, lost her battle to cancer on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Olga E. (Lepore) Rebello. Born in Providence, she had most recently lived in North Providence after moving back to Rhode Island from Ft. Myers, Florida in 2016.

Lorna had worked for Benny’s for 18 years before retiring. She also worked at the CVS headquarters for 5 years and various other retail establishments.

She enjoyed cooking and gardening and caring for all her pets over the years.

She is survived by her siblings: Russell Rebello and his wife, Lois of Greenville and Jacalyn Ruggeri of Chepachet; her nieces Gina Hille and her husband, Jendrick of Oklahoma; Edith Allen and her husband, Erik of Iowa; her nephews Rocco Ruggeri and his wife, Kelli of New Hampshire; Vincent Ruggeri and Brandi of Chepachet and Domenic Ruggeri of Johnston. Her many grand nieces and nephews include Matthew, Hannah & Erik Jr. Allen; Dylan & Philip Hille and Regan, Jeremy, Damien, Xander, Knox & Rocco Ruggeri.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 9 am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.

Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville.

Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 13th prior to mass from 8-9 am.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, PO Box 122268, Newport News, VA.
