Lionel “JP” Lanctot, Dies at 77
Mr. Lanctot worked as a molder for Parker Aluminum for thirty-five years and had also worked as a custodian for the BMR School District. JP was a big New England sports fan, enjoyed NASCAR, was a friend of Bill W., and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with his wife, Mary, he is survived by two sons, Scott Lanctot and his wife, Belinda, of Cumberland, and Joseph Lanctot and his wife, Stacy, of Blackstone; a daughter, Christine Lanctot and her husband, Rex Arsenault, of Blackstone; a stepson, Luke Lavallee and his wife, Jennifer, of Bellingham; two stepdaughters, Robin Hynds and her husband, Chris, of Londonderry, NH, and Catherine Vaughan and her husband, John, of South Hadley, MA; a brother, Richard "Greenie" Lanctot and his wife, Lorraine, of Blackstone; two sisters, Rita Lefebvre of Woonsocket, and Janet Brochu and her husband, Thomas, of Woonsocket; eight grandchildren, Sarah Fagan, Kendra Lanctot, Aidan Hynds, Oliver, and Delilah Lavallee, Theodore Vaughan, Brenden Murray, and Stephanie and Andrew Konicki; as well as two great-grandchildren, John Brown and Lilianah Lanctot. He was the brother of the late Marie Lapierre and Jeanne Sylvestre, and grandfather of the late Scott L. Lanctot.

Burial will be private.
Masks are required at the funeral home regardless of vaccination status.
