Linda Lee Samuelian, of Wakefield, Passes at 75

Linda Lee Samuelian of Wakefield, RI, previously of Providence, RI, passed away on Monday, June 28th, at the age of 75. Linda was the wife of the late Christos Demetropoulos, former wife and fiancé of William Walter Scullion.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Tina Lee Kelley, and her husband Richard Michael Kelley of Wakefield, RI. She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Christopher Michael Kelley, and his wife, Diana Kelley-Lurio of Buchanan, NY, and Jonathan Michael Kelley, and his girlfriend, Lindsey Ryann Godwin, of Coconut Creek, FL. She is also survived by her Great-granddaughter Adeline Ruth Kelley of Buchanan, NY.

Linda was born in Providence, RI on May 22, 1946, to the late George F Samuelian and the late Ruth (Lamont) Samuelian, of Providence, RI.

Linda was a mutuel clerk at Twin River Casino for 25 years and a member of the local 334 before retiring. Linda also worked at the Narragansett Park and Taunton Racetrack. Before that, she worked at the Rhode Island State House in the office of retirement, later continuing her education at the Community College of Rhode Island. Linda was the owner of Tina’s Luncheonette, in Providence, RI, with her late husband Christos.

She was the loving sister of the late Elizabeth J Perry of Middleton, RI. Linda was a graduate of Central High School in 1964 in Providence. She enjoyed fishing, arts and crafts, and spending time with her entire family. Linda loved to travel, especially to Bermuda. Linda wanted to personally thank Dr. Robert Casci for allowing her to see her family for a few more years.

Visitation hours will be held at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865, on June 30th from 9:00 am-11:00 am.

Immediately following, a ceremony will be held at the Highland Memorial Cemetery chapel for family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The American Kidney Fund.
