Linda G. (Gale) Prior Dies at 70

Linda G. (Gale) Prior, 70, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022. She was the wife of the late Ernest J. Prior. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Whitcomb and Patricia (MacKenzie) Gale.

Linda was a customer service representative at Texas Instruments for 15 years before retiring. She was a lifelong North Scituate resident and graduated with an accounting degree in Business Administration from CCRI in 1972.

She was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 19 and was a 20-year Providence Bruins season ticket holder. Linda adored all animals, especially her cat “Phoebe”; she was a huge supporter of the local music scene and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

Linda was the loving mother of MacKenzie C. Prior and his wife Elizabeth Bemis of Foster.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 4-7 pm in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Home, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville.

Burial will be private.
