Leo S. Dias Jr., of East Providence, Dies at 41

Leo S. Dias, Jr., 41, of Hawthorne Ave., East Providence, passed away unexpectedly at home Sunday, June 13, 2021.

Born March 6, 1980, in Providence, he was the loving son of Nidia (Joao) Barker of East Providence and Leo S. Dias Sr. of Pawtucket.

Leo worked as a Regional Manager for more than 10 years at the American Red Cross in Equipment Management.

In addition to his parents he leaves his brother, Christopher F. Dias, Sr. of Riverside; his step-father, George Barker of Riverside; his step-mother, Rosa Dias of Pawtucket; and his nephew, Christopher Dias Jr. Leo also leaves aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His funeral will begin Thursday, June 17, at 9 am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 No. Carpenter St., East Providence.

Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, from 5 pm until 8 pm in the funeral home.
