Josephine A. Baldassare, of Providence, Passes at 91

Josephine A. (Caliri) Baldassare, 91, of Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence passed away peacefully on June 21, 2021, at home. She was the wife of the late Albert Baldassare.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carmino and Frances (Bonanno) Caliri.
She was the loving mother of Louis Baldassare and his wife Linda and Albert Baldassare and his wife Haydee; cherished grandmother of Keri-Ann and Jeffrey Baldassare, Briana Simas, Ashley Marie Cuzzupe and Celestino and Alexander Lanza, and great grandmother of 6. She was also the sister of Esther Gaines, Mulvanna Guerrino, and the late Anthony and Sebastiano Caliri.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:45 am in the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence.
Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetary.
Visitation Thursday 4-7 pm.
