John Daniel Doyle, Passes Away at 67

He was the beloved husband of the late Marianne (McGuinn) Doyle. The two met as undergrads at Providence College.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, John was the third child of the late John Francis and Roberta (Eichenfeldt) Doyle. He is survived by his siblings, Kristine Doyle-Turner, Tim, Tom, Patrick, Chris, and Hannah Shay. John was predeceased by his
brother, Terence.
John was the owner of the Arlington Country Store on Arlington Pond in Salem, New Hampshire where he and Marianne raised their 3 children. He was very involved in the baseball, softball, and basketball teams of his kids. He enjoyed
coaching, umpiring, and refereeing. John also served passionately on the town Zoning Board.
John and the family moved to Rhode Island so he could be the caretaker for his parents. He continued umpiring and refereeing in his spare time until he retired. He was an active member of the Quaker Valley Condo Association in West
Warwick where he was known as “The Mayor”.
John is also survived by and was extremely proud of his children, Joanna, Terry and his wife Jessica, and Casey Belanger and her husband Dennis, and he adored his two grandsons, Andrew and Clayton John. He is also survived by many nieces,
nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 4-7 pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick.
Funeral Thursday at 8:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 445 Washington Street, Coventry.
Burial will be private.
