Jeannette L (Gourd) Eldridge, of West Warwick, Passes at 94

Jeannette L. Eldridge, 94, of Tuckerman Avenue, West Warwick, RI, and Satellite Beach, Florida passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the home of her son.

Born on December 16, 1926 in West Warwick, RI, she was the wife of the late George J. Eldridge and the daughter of the late Louis and Aldea (Lariviere) Gourd.

Jeannette was a homemaker to her loving family. Jeannette was an avid traveler in this country and around the world. She also enjoyed golfing, yard sailing, being a Cub Scout Den Mother, and was an avid reader.

Jeannette is survived by eight children including five sons; James Eldridge, Carl Eldridge, Raymond Eldridge, Paul Eldridge, and David Eldridge, three daughters; Francine Bullock, Vivian J. Eldridge, and Linda Dale, 10 grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters; Doris Gourd and Germaine Gourd and a brother; Louis Gourd.

A memorial service will be held on July 8, 2022 at 10:00 am at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI.
