Jeanne Alice Thibault, of Coventry, a Retired Registered Nurse Dies at 90

Jeanne Alice Thibault, of Coventry, a retired Registered Nurse, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022.  She was 90 years old.  Jeanne was the loving soul mate of Joseph Roland Thibault, who predeceased her in 2020.

 

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Albert and Alice (Marcel) Cloutier.  In addition to her husband and parents, Jeanne was preceded in death by a sister Gertrude and brother Adrien.

Jeanne was a dedicated nurse who cared for both her mother and husband prior to their deaths.  She began her professional career as a licensed practical nurse, furthered her education and became a registered nurse.

 

She was employed by Kent County Hospital and the State of RI.

 

During her younger years, she enjoyed her grandchildren and summered with her husband in Westport, Massachusetts.  Jeanne was an avid birdwatcher.

 

Jeanne is survived by one son Michael Thibault and his wife Rita of Coventry and two daughters Diane Riordan and husband Michael of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and Paula Rainha and husband Richard of Port Orange, Florida, and five grandchildren Matthew Thibault, Angela Proulx, Jeremy Rainha, Danielle Rowett, and Michael Riordan and their families.

 

A  visiting hour will be on Monday morning, June 20, 2022, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, with a Service at 10:00 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (Rte.3) Coventry.  Interment at the Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery in North Kingstown. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs.Thibault’s memory can be made to the Care of New England VNA Hospice (VNACARENEWENGLAND.ORG).
