Janet Ann Greene, of Bristol, Dies at 83

Janet Ann Greene, known to those who loved her as "Auntie Janet", age 83, of Bristol passed away peacefully on December 27th at her home.

The daughter of the late John & Margaret Greene, she was a lifelong resident of Bristol.

Janet was known for her generosity and willingness to help others. She was a graduate of Bryant University and a retired federal employee. She was fond of telling stories about the years she spent working with the congressional office.

Janet is survived by many nieces, nephews, and several very dear friends that she considered family.

Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2022 at 10 am at North Burial Ground in Bristol.
