Theresa M. Demeulenaere, of Pawtucket, Passes Away at 74

Theresa was a devout Catholic and communicant of St. John Paul II (and formerly St. Leo the Great) Church. She was an avid reader and dissectologist “Google it”, who loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Besides her loving husband, she leaves four children, Ronald D. Demeulenaere of Pawtucket, Debra J. Chapman and her husband, Matthew, of Smithfield, Terilyn Dorval and her husband, Michael, of Smithfield and Steven J. Demeulenaere and his wife, Vicki, of Michigan; seven grandchildren, Kayla Demeulenaere, Kyle Demeulenaere, Markie Morrow, Emma Demeulenaere, Ryan Demeulenaere, Kamden Dorvall, and Brayden Chapman; three siblings, William Thornton, Jr. and his wife, Marilyn, of New York, Anne Lauraine Dale of Michigan and John Thornton and his wife, Gale, of Pawtucket and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Sandra Smith and Frances Whitehead.

Theresa’s funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from William W. Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church (St. John Paul II Parish), 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
