Helen (Caballero) Rodriguez Dies at 93

Rodriguez, Helen (Caballero), 93, formerly of Staten Island, NY a retired executive secretary for Con-Edison in Manhattan, and a resident of  Rosemary Street in Coventry since 2013, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 16, 2022.

She was predeceased by her husband Louis Rodriguez in 2004. Born in New York City, NY, she was a daughter of the late Xavier and Rose (Silva) Caballero. 

After graduating from high school, Helen was briefly employed as a dental hygienist. However, Helen was proud of her 44-year career as an executive secretary with the Con-Edison Electric Company, before retiring in 1990. Helen loved to travel, listen to music, she enjoyed being with her family and friends and Helen was always considered as being the “life of the party.’

She leaves her twin sister Gilda Bianco of Coventry, niece Linda D. Bardi (Dominick) of Coventry, nephew Leonard Douglas (Euthalia) of Tamworth, NH, great-nephews Anthony & Steven Bardi, and great-niece Cassandra Bardi. Helen was the sister of the late Helbert Caballero.

Per Helen’s request, services followed by inurnment at Saint Ann Cemetery in Cranston will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the RISPCA, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI 02915 would be appreciated.

Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at Maple Root, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) in Coventry.
