Gloria D. (Squadrito) Andrade, of Pawtucket, Passes Away at 92

Gloria D. (Squadrito) Andrade, 92, of School Street, Pawtucket, died on Sunday, May 23, 2021. 

She was the wife for 61 years of the late Florian L. Andrade.

Mrs. Andrade was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Carmela (Calabro) and Dominic Squadrito.

She attended Pawtucket West High School and worked at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital for many years. When she was younger, she was an inspector at Moore Fabrics and was a silk screener at Hasbro. She was known as an exceptional and inspired cook, specializing in Sicilian food, and hosted many family dinners and holiday celebrations. She was quick to laugh and was beloved by all who knew her.

Mrs. Andrade is survived by her daughter, Diane M. Charron, and her husband, David of North Attleboro, MA, her son, Lawrence J. Andrade, and spouse, George T. Marshall of Newport, RI, and her sister, Grace Seoane of Coventry, RI. Mrs. Andrade also leaves her granddaughter, Ashley M. Charron McEvoy, and great-grandson, Eli, and many nieces and nephews.

She will be interred at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland, RI.

Burial will be private.

A Memorial Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
