Francis E. Farrell, Jr., Passes Away at 90
He was the beloved husband of 56 years to the late Joan C. (Stanelun) Farrell.
Born in Pawtucket, Francis was a son of the late Francis E. Sr. and Rubye (Hayes) Farrell.

He was a proud Eagle Scout and member of the Knights of Columbus where he was Grand Knight of the Lincoln Council #4005 from 1966 - 1967. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, bicycling, and playing billiards with his many friends at the Coventry Senior Center. He also enjoyed volunteering his time at Our Lady of Czestochowa, where he was a parishioner. He was a member of St Patrick’s in Harrisville and in Cumberland in the past.
He was the father of David F. (Denise) Farrell of Mendon, Michaela A. (Ron) Forcier of West Greenwich, Daniel P. (Amy) Farrell of Fort Thomas, KY, Paul E. (Nela) Farrell of Cumberland, and Nancy F. (Kevin) Naretto of Goleta, CA; Grandfather of 9, great-grandfather of 5. Brother of Marie Dempster, David Farrell, Ann Sandburg, and Cathy Czarnecki.
His funeral will be Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 9:00 am from the Iannotti Funeral Home at Maple Root, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (RTE 3), Coventry with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 445 Washington St., Coventry.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
