Frances S. (Touchette) Guthrie, of Coventry, Dies at 87

Frances S. (Touchette) Guthrie, 87, of Coventry, RI passed away, Saturday, January 15, 2022, at RI Hospital. Born in West Warwick she was a daughter of the late Louis and Diane (Gareau) Touchette.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Guthrie for 63 years.

As a former resident of Bonita Springs, FL, Frances was able to return to RI with her cherished cats to spend her remaining years with her family and friends.

She was an avid quilter and was known for all crafts, each one handstitched with love.

She is survived by her children, Joseph J. (Debbie) Guthrie, Patricia S. (Charles) Picard, Scott J. (Lori) Guthrie, and Lisa A. (Paul) Mahoney. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Frances was the youngest of eight children, including the late Norbert, Jeanne, Arthur, Carmella, Madeleine, Charles, and Joseph.

Calling hours and Burial will be private.
