Frances Coury, of Barrington, Dies at 93

Coury, Frances, 93, of Roffee Street, Barrington, died peacefully on November 10, 2021.

She was the wife of the late Fred P. Coury Sr. They were married for sixty years.

Born in Bristol, a daughter of the late Andrew and Maria (Ferrara) Abate, she lived in Barrington for 65 years.

Mrs. Coury was a communicant of Holy Angels Church. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family. Her home was the gathering place of cherished memories for family and friends for over sixty years of Sunday dinners, birthdays and holidays.

She is survived by her children, Fred P. Coury Jr. and his wife Deborah of Warren, Debby Mallozzi and her companion Paul Morelli of Barrington and Kenneth S. Coury and his wife Adriana of Barrington; a great-granddaughter, Shenelle Teixeira who lived with her; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late John and Dan Coury and sister of the late Anna Dallaire, Grace Proulx, Rose Andreozzi, Ralph F., Charles, Salvatore and Frank Abate.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington.

Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
