Filomena Tirocchi, of Providence, Passes at 86

Filomena Tirocchi, 86, of Providence, passed away on October 6, 2021 in Kent Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Angelo L. Tirocchi, Jr.

Born in Guarcino, Frosinone, Italy she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Lidia (Legge) Tirocchi.

She was the beloved mother of Robert Francis Tirocchi and his wife Doreen Ann (Paolantonio) and Maria Lidia Tirocchi Femino and her husband Michael and grandmother of Andrea Marie Dayotas and her husband Peter Jr., Jaclyn Leigh Tirocchi and Mia Adriana Femino. She was also the sister of Lizetta Petricca, Giovanni Batista Tirocchi, predeceased by Amilcare Tirocchi, Giuseppe Tirocchi and Anna Tirocchi.

Her visitation and funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 am from the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Anthony Church, 549 Plainfield Street, Providence.

Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Filomena’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
