Dorothy L. Capuano “Nana Cap” Passes at 99, Grandmother and Lover of Hats

Dorothy L. Capuano “Nana Cap” 99 years old of Cranston passed away peacefully at Kent Regency Nursing Home. Dorothy was a longtime employee at Art Mold Products on Wellington Avenue.
She was born February 15, 1920, in Akron, Ohio. She was the daughter of Malvin and Jewel Gray, and lived the majority of her life in Cranston.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter Joan Calci and son-in-law Albert of West Warwick.
She was the loving grandmother to Chris Mignano and his wife Nicole and Alicia Calci and a great-grandmother to Kelsey Mignano and step-great-grandmother to Brady, Dante, and Hunter Haeger.
Dorothy enjoyed the company of her family and friends and preparing meals for every family gathering especially her renowned antipasto with dressing.
She loved to show off her fur hats and high-heels around town and shopping in Garden City only giving up driving after her 96th birthday.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, March 21st at 10:00 am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery Warwick.
