Dorothy E. Jasinowski Dies at 90

Dorothy E. Jasinowski, 90, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2022 at home, surrounded by her family.

She was the wife of the late Edward Jasinowski. Born in Foster, she was the daughter of the late George Vanasse Sr. and Veronica (Gadoury) Vanasse.

Dorothy worked as a medical secretary in various offices over the years. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and gardening. She also was an active member of St. Joseph's Church, Pascoag.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She is survived by two sons: Edward Jasinowski of Harrisville and Russell Jasinowski of West Warwick; a daughter, Karen Jasinowski of Pascoag; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers: George, Elmer, Brian, and Harold Jasinowski and sisters: Alice Sherman, Olive Jacques, Yvonne O'Connor, Marion Vanasse, and Doris Livernoche.

Her funeral services will be private at the request of the family and are under the direction of the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag.
