Dorothy A. (Mandell) Young, of Woonsocket, Dies at 54
She was the wife of Vincent "Eddie" Young, Sr. for thirty-seven years. Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy (Dugan) Mandell.
Dorothy worked as a waitress for George's Restaurant and River Falls, both in Woonsocket. She loved spending time with her dog, Ivy, spending time with her family, especially at family BBQs, and most of all, she loved her son "Lil Ed" beyond words.
Along with her husband, Eddie, she is survived by her son Vincent "Lil Ed" Young, Jr.; her sisters, Susan Grenier of Tiverton, Sharon Mandell of Chicago, IL, Donna Mandell of Woonsocket, and Mary Runions of Woonsocket; many nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was the sister of the late Karen Molina.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 beginning with visitation at 5 pm, followed by a service at 6:30 pm in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
Burial will be private.
