Donald "Ray" Levesque, of North Kingstown, Dies at 77

Donald "Ray" Levesque, 77, of North Kingstown, formerly of Chepachet, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.  

He was the loving husband of Denise F. (Ouger) Levesque. Born in Fall River, MA, he was a son of the late Raymond J. Levesque and Margaret D. (Frappier) Levesque.

Ray was a house painter with James Gallagher Painting in Woonsocket for many years until his retirement. He was a Communicant of St. Francis de Sales Church and the Commodore of the Narragansett Yacht Club in Cranston.   

In addition to his wife, he leaves his loving son, Michael D. Levesque, and his wife Heather of West Greenwich.  Cherished grandfather of Hannah L. Levesque, Doug LaCombe, and Kendra L. Mills.  He was the brother of Claire Young, Barbara Levesque, Debora Souza, Robert J. Levesque and the late Bernadette Brunette. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. 

Ray will be remembered on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 7:00 pm celebrating the Immaculate Conception in St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School Street, North Kingstown. 

A celebration of his life will be held in the Spring of 2022.    

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Cranston-Murphy Funeral Home of Wickford.
