Daniel Harrington, of North Kingstown, Passes at 57

Daniel Harrington, 57, of North Kingstown passed away peacefully on June 22, 2021 surrounded by his loving family, after a brief illness.

Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late Gerald T. Harrington Jr and Sonia (Smith) Reed.

Danny spent a lot of time at his grandparent's beachfront home in Wickford where he found appreciation for everything about the ocean and fishing. He was a lifelong commercial fisherman, working out of Wickford, Point Judith, and Marathon, Florida.

Besides fishing, Danny loved; cooking, history, the Red Sox, the Patriots, all of his buddies at Duffy's, any and all music, playing guitar, his stupendous record collection, his dog Charlie and spending time with his niece and nephew, Lindsay and Alex.

Besides his mother, Danny is survived by three sisters: Diana Bibeault (husband Robert), Kathleen Brown, Laura Faggella (husband Mike). Nieces and nephews: Melissa Carrier, Jessica Korthuis, Peter and Ryan Bibeault, Alexander and Lindsay Brown. Great nieces and nephew; Grace and Brooke Carrier, William and Evelyn Korthuis, and Sophie-Claire Brown. He was the nephew of Patsy and John Westbrook also Diane and Tim Brennan.

He was predeceased by his father Gerald T. Harrington Jr and his brother Gerald T Harrington III.

Danny was one of a kind and a friend to all who knew him. He will be buried at Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery with his family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Cranston-Murphy Funeral Home of Wickford.
