Brandon Louis Verrocchio, of West Greenwich, Passes at 23
Brandon was a bright, loving light with fierce loyalty, compassion, and quick wit to his family and friends.
Brandon graduated from Exeter West Greenwich High School, wherein his senior year he was captain of the varsity football team and was a member of the varsity basketball team. He attended CCRI, where he quickly discovered he was better suited for a career in the trades. After spending some time in construction, Brandon realized his interest and aptitude for electrical installation and started his education to become an electrician. Recently, Brandon found purpose and value in working with the family of Twisted restaurant in Exeter.
In addition to his many friends, Brandon is survived by his parents, his Mother, Amy Verrocchio, his father, Louis Verrocchio, and his brother Zachary Verrocchio. On his maternal side, he is survived by his grandparents Jim and Donna Maresco, his aunts and uncles Jamie Scurry, Russell Scurry, Kristi Maresco, and Greg Crawford, and his cousins Celia Scurry and Elijah Scurry. On his paternal side, he is survived by his grandmother Elaine Verrocchio, his grandfather Louis Verrocchio, his Aunt Lisa Verrocchio, and cousins Russell Pagano and Demetri Bradly.
The family will be having a small, private memorial.
They ask that a donation be made in Brandon’s name to Meeting Street RI or the Young Athletes Division of Special Olympics RI.
