Barbara Schaffer, Formerly of Warwick, Passes at 87

Schaffer, Barbara, 87, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Schaffer.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Abraham and Nancy (Garfinkel) Fabricant, she had lived in Boca Raton for 6 years, previously a longtime resident of Warwick.

She was a graduate of Hope High School, Class of ’52.  Barbara was an office manager for Sinel, Wilfand & Vinci Accounting for 20 years, retiring in 2006. She was a former member of Temple Sinai.

Devoted mother of Gary Schaffer (Susan) of Cumberland and Steven Schaffer of Boca Raton. Dear sister of Donna Kelman (Dave) of Cranston and Sherri Kaplow (Jerry) of Ashland, MA.  Loving grandmother of Dylan. Cherished aunt of Billy, Robert, and Karen.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 8th at 10:00 a.m., in Shalom Memorial Chapel, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston.

Shiva will be private.
