Barbara Ann Ciarlo, of Johnston, Passes at 52

Barbara Ann Ciarlo, 52, of Johnston, passed away at home on Thursday, October 14th. She was the beloved wife of 18 years to Louis Ciarlo.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Estella (Arlan) Hartmann.

Mrs. Ciarlo was an Assistant Manager for Stop & Shop Supermarket. In her spare time, she enjoyed buying and trying new makeup.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Richard E. Hartmann, David S. Teague, and Joseph J. Hartmann, two brothers, James Hartmann and Richard Hartmann; four sisters, Denise DeLomba, Richelle Hartmann, Carol Mitchell, and Shirley Pittman; and six grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, October 20th at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence. 

Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. 

Visiting hours are Tuesday, 4-7 pm. 

Relatives and friends planning to attend must wear masks and maintain social distancing.
