Army Veteran, Thomas F. Metivier, of Woonsocket, Dies at 89

He was the beloved husband of the late Lucy (Depault) Metivier.
Born in Albion, a son of the late Alfred and Aurore (Benoit) Metivier, he had lived in Missouri for many years, before moving to Woonsocket five years ago.

An Army veteran, he served during the Korean War. He was a member of the North Smithfield VFW.
He is survived by one son, James Metivier of Missouri; and his brother-in-law, Raymond Depault of Albion. He was the brother of the late Leo Metivier, Oliva Metivier and Herve Metivier.
A committal service, with military honors, will be held Monday, May 24, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Resurrection Cemetery, 259 West Wrentham Road, Cumberland.
